Shining Achievement in Karate Championships 2024

Green Valley English School premises of Varanasi organised Alok Tiwari Memorial Cup, 9th Open Karate Championship 2024 under the banner of Manav Academy of Marshal Arts. The Mayor of the Varanasi Municipal Corporation Mr. Ashok Tiwari graced the occasion with his presence as a Chief Guest. It was held on 7th October 2024.GVES students shined with 3 Gold Medals in this competition.

The participants defined themselves with unflinching commitment and tough training. It was a show of perseverance, determination, and success. We congratulate Shivesh Sharma, Adarsh Singh, and Vilakshan Yadav to add Laurel in GVES’ prestige by winning Gold Medal. Our 3 students won Silver Medals and 9 students won Bronze Medals. The school administration appreciated the winners for their outstanding performance and wish them further success and fulfillment in the martial arts world.

A Memorable Children’s Day Celebration at Our School

On 14th November, our school celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and joy to honor the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who was known for his love for children. The event aimed to make the day special for the students and acknowledge their importance in shaping the future of our nation.
The celebration commenced at 9:00 a.m. in the school symphony, which was beautifully decorated with colorful balloons, posters, and banners. The program began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, which included a prayer, and a tribute to Pandit Nehru. This was followed by school Chairman, Dr. Rakesh Singh’s speech highlighting Nehru’s contribution to India and his fondness for children.
The teachers took charge of the entire event, organizing a variety of activities to entertain and engage the students. The event featured music and dance performances by the teachers, much to the delight of the children who were excited to see their mentors showcasing hidden talents, leaving the children both entertained and thoughtful.
The event concluded with a melodious song by honourable Principal, Mrs. Kiran Singh and vote of thanks by school head girl, who appreciated the efforts of the teachers for making the day memorable and emphasized the importance of nurturing the young minds who are the future of the country.

Overall, the Children’s Day celebration in our school was a grand success, leaving behind wonderful memories for both the students and teachers. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and learning, reminding everyone of the value of childhood and the importance of cherishing those precious years.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the guidance of their coaches and mentors. Competing against some of the best teams in the region, they showcased not only their athletic excellence but also sportsmanship and resilience.

It’s a matter of great pleasure that Bhupendra Pratap Singh of class VIII of Green Valley English School has brought laurels to the institution by securing first position in the 200 m race and third position in the 100 m race in 14 to 18 yrs. age category in the SANSAD KHEL PRATIYOGITA, KASHI – 2024, organised on 19:11:2024, in Varanasi.
In the same competition, Gajendra Pratap Singh of class VIII secured first position in the 400 m race category.
The entire school feels ecstatic at their remarkable achievement and extends heartfelt congratulations to the achievers and at the same time wishes them luck in their future endeavours as well.
